This sculpture depicts Garuda, the powerful mythical bird and protector deity in Tibetan Buddhism. Rendered with a bird’s head, outstretched wings, and serpents held in its beak and hands, the figure symbolizes Garuda’s role in subduing nāgas and dispelling poisons. Cast in bronze with gilt finish and gemstone inlays, the sculpture reflects the refined Sino-Tibetan Buddhist aesthetic of the Ming–Qing period.

此像表现藏传佛教护法神禽迦楼罗形象，鸟首人身，双翼展开，口衔龙蛇，象征其降伏龙族、镇毒辟邪之神力。通体铜铸鎏金，并嵌饰宝石，造型威严而结构严谨，体现明清时期汉藏融合的佛教造像风格。
